Spring Bubble Magic

The best thing about bubble magic is that it can be done anywhere, whether in a park, by the ocean, while camping, or in your backyard. This can be done within a ritual space or outside of it. When teaching children, it teaches them focus, patience, intent, and fun. All you need is a cheap jar of bubbles from the dollar store.

Here are some guidelines before you get started:

  • Ground yourself and make sure you are in your body. If working with children, have them take a couple of breaths.
  • Set your intention or wish - what do you want to manifest?
  • Bless the bubble solution with your intention or any other suitable purpose
  • While focusing on your intent, stir the bubble solution clockwise with the wand.
  • Remove the wand and gently blow your intention or wish into the iridescent center of the wand to create your bubble.

How to Interpret Your Bubble Magic:

  • If the bubble breaks before leaving the wand - you are not focused enough. Refocus and try again.
  • If the bubble floats to the ground and remains intact or pops - your wish isn’t ready to manifest. There may be other obstacles that need to be cleared first.
  • If you see multiple bubbles, steps must be taken for your intent or wish to manifest.
  • Once your bubble is floating freely - the closer it pops to you, the sooner your intent will manifest; the further away it pops, the longer you will have to wait.

Magical Add-ons to Try

Essential Oils:  Add two or three drops to the bubble solution. Try Bay to increase your magic, Rosemary for clarity, Lavender for calm, and Rose for love and friendships. With research, you can find the right essential oil for your needs.

Glow Stick: Add the contents of a glow stick to the bubble solution and stir well to add some visual magic. The best colors to try are green and pink.

DIY Bubble Solution

Recipe:

                  1 cup of warm water
                  2 Tablespoons of dishwashing soap
1 Tablespoon of vegetable glycerin or corn syrup

Instructions:

  1. Add warm water to a bowl.
  2. Gently stir in the dish soap.
  3. Add glycerin or corn syrup for extra-strong, long-lasting bubbles.
  4. Let the mixture sit for at least 30 minutes or longer if you have time.
  5. Pour into small bottles.

You can make wands from chenille stems or wire by twisting a loop at one end.

With a simple breath and a bubble wand, you can send your dreams and wishes floating on the spring breeze. Whether playing with children or weaving your own spells, bubble magick is a joyful way to connect with intention, nature, and limitless possibilities. So, breathe deep, blow your wishes skyward, and trust the magic to do the rest.

Have you ever tried bubble magick before? I’d love to hear how it worked for you!
